Changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars, had a bit of a not-so-great experience. The owner or manager called, explained the tech was newer and was still in the learning process. He was a super nice tech. Hope he succeeds in the HVAC industry. The owner adjusted my bill and made things right. Will definitely give them a second chance.

I’ve had them out twice now, once for the AC and now for the heating. Both times, they were able to come out the same day within a couple of hours. Both times they were super polite and friendly. Both times they took their time to explain to me what was wrong, how they fixed it, and what to do next time it happens again (my unit is old and on its way out). Both times they were very professional but friendly, and I was able to converse with them, making me feel like I was more than just a number to them. I will always recommend them and will continue my services with them! I can’t remember the name of the guy from last time but today was German. He was 10/10 and he liked all my pets.

Second visit in about a year, they fixed my 40+ year old furnace first in March and told me then that it wouldn't last. The tech was right. Based on their excellent service at that time I had them back without question. They finished installing a new furnace in half a day and even fabricated a better filter setup at no additional cost. When the aircon dies, I'll have them back! No question!

They've helped me twice in recent years. Kala at the office was great. What I mean by that is she is both personable and very educated, as she clearly explained some things over the phone while making an appointment. German was efficient. Four years back they helped to refill my refrigerant for the a/c unit that had a tiny leak, and threw a sealant in there to extend the life, which has saved me from replacing the unit. This time around, there was a build-up of water that I couldn't source (likely from a clogged condensation trap/drain. Not sure. However, rust was visible from the inside of the furnace unit. So far after 3 days, it seems problem-free, knock on wood. Overall, their office and technicians are very organized from both of my experiences.

Air conditioner fixed swiftly! Jun 30, 2024

Our air conditioner stopped working last week, of course, the evening before the hottest day of the week. I called first thing the next morning, and by 12:30 that afternoon someone was here to take a look at it and fix what needed to be fixed! I appreciated that he was able to find the problem and fix it, rather than trying to upsell me or tell me we needed a whole new unit. We will definitely use Air Max again, if/when needed in the future!

Exceptional Experience with Air Max! May 30, 2024

I had an exceptional experience with Air Max! A competitor quoted me $9,000 to replace my entire HVAC system, claiming it was beyond repair. However, Keith and the team at Air Max discovered that the issue was simply a faulty blower motor. They fixed it for just $500. Much wow! Their honesty and expertise have earned them a customer for life. I highly recommend Air Max for all your air conditioning and heating needs!

3 stars: Service was excellent and I was notified when the technician was on the way to my home. My only complaint is the price. I was charged $240 for a non-digital thermostat, not including the labor. Updated to 4 stars: Management called to inform me that they looked at my bill and had made a mistake by billing out the wrong part. Offered a refund for the correct price.

AirMaxx have been my HVAC team since 2019 when I relocated to Minnesota. The office is always quick to respond and helpful. The technicians are always knowledgeable, professional, and make suggestions with an eye towards options with cost estimates provided that are accurate. They take their time to do the job right the first time, ensure maintenance is completed without shortcuts, and leave the house like no one was ever working there. The technicians listen to my concerns, ask questions to solve the problem, test the system thoroughly, and have never had to return to redo a job. They cut me slack one time when I missed the emailed invoice in junk email when they pleasantly called me to double check on it. It is like you have trusted family members who are HVAC experts helping you along the way who have your best interests in mind!

Air Max was wonderful to work with, very responsive and proactive on all issues. Very professional and polite. Keith and Reuben are two of the most knowledgeable techs on hot water heating around. They figured out the problem within minutes of being at our home, whereas other HVAC techs who were out multiple times couldn't resolve the issue. Kayla was just as polite and efficient, being on top of all issues we added to our job. Reuben found additional issues that would have been problematic for this winter. We are sharing our feedback of Air Max because we couldn't be happier with the experience we had in doing business with them from the first phone call through the completed installation. The first call placed with them was answered right away with a friendly reception. Was able to quickly book an appointment for someone to come out to the house for consultation. We had a very old air conditioner with a heat pump that finally went out and needed to be replaced. Too cost prohibitive to repair. Keith arrived and took the time to explain different options available, costs and benefits of each option, and answer all our questions. We did not feel pressured or rushed to make a decision. Thank you, Keith, for being so personable and giving us the time to weigh options without being pressured. After a couple of weeks of pondering the options, we made a decision on the new air conditioner/heat pump and furnace. We went into the office to personally make a payment, meet the staff, and get on the schedule for install. The staff was friendly and personable. Was also impressed with their shop onsite. From the time of getting on the installation schedule to the date of installation, we were kept informed with reminders and who the lead technician will be. On the day of installation, Evan, the lead tech, arrived exactly at the scheduled time. They knew exactly what needed to be done and made short order of getting the job done. The technicians were highly experienced and professional. When the job was done, they took the old equipment with them for disposal and left the entire work areas clean.
